The Coiltek mini booster is a rugged aluminium box which connects directly to your detector control box and the power cord plugs into the socket provided.
The knob allows adjustment for volume and the unit runs off the detectors battery, so there's no need for battery changes.
This unit is suitable for SD and GP machines where the operators use headphones.
There is a velcro pad on the rear to allow it to be stuck onto a control box or to a velcro pad sewn into most control box covers.
A GPX version is also available of the unit at the left for those of us that prefer headphones but don't want to risk damaging our hearing by triggering the inbuilt booster in the battery.
It works the same way as the SD/GP unit with a volume adjust knob. |
