There is 104 pages of information including the Clermont GPA's, McDonaldtown, Gilberton, Palmer River, Mount Mulligan, Deep Creek and Long Gully to name a few. This would be a good start to planning that detecting trip. Included is a separate map showing Queensland's gold producing areas.

"Fists Full of Gold" is written by a well known American Geologist. Chris Ralph goes through Gold mining equipment like sluices, dry washers and Metal Detectors. There is a section on Basic geology that deals with minerals, rock types and how the landscape was formed. Also included is a section dealing with techniques and procedures for finding gold and deposits.

This book is written for the average individual and is 360 pages of information, longer than most other books in its class.
